Bill Mann is a civil litigator, trial and appellate advocate. He frequently appears before Ohio's professional licensing boards.

Bill was born in Norwalk, Ohio and became a full-time college student before graduating from high school. He received his B.A. from Case Western Reserve University in Political Science. While at Case Western, Bill was awarded Honors in Political Science for excellence in research and writing, earned membership in the History Honor Society and worked on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. as a Legislative Intern.

Bill received his J.D. (law degree) from the University of Dayton School of Law where he was a member of the Constitutional Law Moot Court Team, and where he was named Best Oral Advocate in every round of the Law School's Moot Court Tournament. During law school, Bill was a Judicial Law Clerk at the Huron County Court of Common Pleas.

After graduating from U.D. Law, Bill was a Judicial Law Clerk at the Sixth District Ohio Court of Appeals and then at the Supreme Court of Ohio.

Bill has been Board Certified as a Civil Trial Advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, the Multi Million Dollar Advocates Forum, has been an Ohio Super Lawyer and is AV rated by Martindale -Hubbell, which, according to Martindale, is "a testament to the fact that a lawyer's peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence."

Bill served on the Ohio State Bar Association's Legal Ethics and Professional Conduct Committee, a certified grievance committee, from 1987 -2015; was a member of the Supreme Court of Ohio's; Commission on Professionalism from 1997 -2002, was President of the Central Ohio Association for Justice in 2001 and again in 2002, was a member of the University of Dayton Law School's Board of Trustees and received the Central Ohio Association for Justice's President's Award in 1996 and again in 1997, and received the Association's Slugger's Award in 2001 and again in 2002. When he was President of the Central Ohio Association it was named Best Local Trial Bar in Ohio by the Ohio Association for Justice.
